After figuring out how to re-insert this part, and temporarily re-attaching the grip, I learned about the value of Loctite in keeping the grip screws from loosening accidentally. I was dismayed to find that this caused a very important internal part of the mechanism to also fall out. I shot it some more, and at the range one day the grip screws got loose enough so that the right side grip popped off. So I got out my Dremel tool and did my first throat job (teeny bit at a time), until it would feed Winchester silver-tip HPs 100%. After that, it would strip every FMJ round out of a full magazine properly. I stoned this area smooth again, applied some moly lube to the area, and smoothed and polished the lips of the magazine. So, I looked the gun over, and saw that the stainless steel on the underneath part of the slide was galling in the area right over the magazine. If I filled the magazine one short of full, it was fine. To start with, after shooting a box or so of FMJ ammo through the gun, it developed a funny habit of not stripping the first round out of a full magazine when I had fired a round already in the chamber. This gun taught me many many things, all good and useful, but not necessarily painless. I'm thinking in my response more of a carry gun. I like the beretta if all I could shoot was the recoil of a 380 it has capacity beyond the Sig. re: the american sw walther and comments about the fat beretta. Thats my opinion prob made some people mad. But I've done it with the Alloy framed gun and I prefer it over a J frame in that mode of carry. This doesn't appear to effect it's shootability over the all heavier stainless model or not by much.Д¬ons to some not me.

The Sig in Alloy frame and carbon slide gun it's very lightweight for carry. It is not too big and fat like the beretta 85 might as well get a 9mm as have a Beretta.

You get a full size grip and a proper length barrel and site picture to fully utilize an already low power cartridge. It's not fussy with ammo selection with the exception of Hydrashoks. I'd rather have a bersa than a SW POS attempt at a walther.ДЄ decocker that is not on the slide and it out of the way.

Sorry the SW PPKS is a POS in my opinion compared to the Euro made guns. It isn't what I prefer I like the Colt Mustang PlusII best. The 232 is prob the best of the bunch overall. I have a Sig 232, and a few Colt Mustangs and a German PPKS I have the CZ83, Beretta 85fs, and Sig 232 and 238 on the short list.
